LoveColour was founded by Allen Shegay in 2009. Since discovering his passion in graphic design, at the age of 15, Allen taught himself the basics of aesthetic principles and working with the Adobe Software mainly through books and internet. Two years later Allen received his first professional job, designing a logo for a web hosting client and later upon finishing High School, he was granted a scholarship from Raffles Design Institute worth $7,500 and was named the top in his year for Print Design & Computing.

Currently studying for a Design degree at Massey University, Allen is constantly striving to learn more and to further improve his skills and abilities.
Along with being a full time student, he is employed as an in-house Graphic/Web Designer with Kudos Solutions, as well as working with various ongoing clients as a freelance designer. His ambition is to build up a stable client base before graduating from university, enabling him to start a small design firm of his own.

When not working on uni or client projects, Allen enjoys playing poker or shooting a game of pool with his friends.
